Bihar Amrit Bharat Namo Bharat Train: PM Modi is going to launch Namo Bharat Train and Amrit Bharat Train in Bihar on 24 April.

Bihar Amrit Bharat Namo Bharat Train: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to flag off the non-AC Amrit Bharat train between Saharsa in Bihar and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai on April 24. This is the second Amrit Bharat train connecting Bihar to other parts of the country. PM Modi will inaugurate the first 16-coach Namo Bharat Rapid Rail service between Jaynagar and Patna on April 24 itself.

Amrit Bharat train runs on these 2 routes

At present, Amrit Bharat trains are being run on two routes. The first train connects Bihar to the national capital on the Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar route and the second train runs on the Malda Town-Sir M. Visvesvaraya route, which connects West Bengal to Karnataka.

Dilip Kumar, Executive Director (Information and Publicity) at the Railway Board, said, “The Saharsa-Madhubani-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus service is the third route and the second route to Bihar on which the Amrut Bharat train will be run. It will be inaugurated by PM Modi (on April 24).” He said, “Other important stations on this route are Hajipur, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Bhusaval.”

Ticket for Rs 450

Railway officials said that this train can reach a maximum speed of 130 kmph. This service, specially designed for the middle class and Antyodaya (economically weaker) classes, will not be heavy on the pocket and the ticket price for a journey of 1,000 km will be around Rs 450.

Kumar said, “Amrit Bharat 2.0 trains have been manufactured at ICF (Integral Coach Factory) and have push-and-pull technology, which means that they have engines at both ends.”

Namo Bharat train will run between Jaynagar and Patna

PM Modi will inaugurate the first 16-coach Namo Bharat Rapid Rail service between Jaynagar and Patna on April 24 itself. Railway officials say that the first Namo Bharat Rapid Rail, which was started between Ahmedabad and Bhuj in September last year, had only 12 coaches, but it has been decided to increase the number of coaches to accommodate more passengers. The train runs at a speed of 110 kmph

Kumar said that this new train will run at a maximum speed of 110 kmph, which will reduce the travel time by half. It will provide fast, safe and convenient travel to the common people of North Bihar, who go to Patna for jobs, business and education. This fully air-conditioned train with sixteen coaches will have seats for about 2000 passengers.

Officials said that apart from this, more than 1000 more passengers can travel in the train, who can stand using ‘handrails’, straps or pillars to maintain balance during the journey. Kumar said that the Jaynagar-Patna railway line passes through Madhubani, Sakri, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Barauni and Mokama stations.

These facilities will be available in Namo Bharat Train

According to the Railway Ministry, this rapid rail service is equipped with many innovative features like comfortably designed seats, Type-C and Type-A charging sockets, fully air-conditioned cabins and ‘modular interiors’, toilets etc. Kumar said that this train will be very convenient for middle class families and will benefit local handicrafts, agricultural products and small manufacturing items by bringing them closer to big markets.
