The earth day is celebrated in April every year. Everywhere all over the globe. As a reminder and a rejoinder call to all of us, without a fuss . To save earth , to save depletion of its natural resources for our future generations, to save environment, to bring awareness , to protect planet from pollution and deforestation , make people aware about climate change. Overall to activate environmental movement worldwide is the need of the hour. Well conceived and chosen themes for the years 2023 and 2024 respectively echoed in our mind and refresh our fading memory even today. Wake up all today or never before it is too late. Waking up on time would benefit all. WAKE UP ALL FOR A WORLDWIDE CAUSE for a safe and secure environment for all.
The theme of Earth day for the year 2023 was INVEST IN OUR PLANET , the theme for the year 2024 was PLANET VERSUS PLASTIC , we all worldwide must cooperate and support hammer and tongs , Governments initiatives meant for the betterment and ensuring safe and secure environment for all and sundry .
Dharti Mata ki pukaar. Dharti mata ki awaaz. Save Mother Earth’s degradation which is quintessential for humans, animals and plants .
Earth day is celebrated on 22 April every year to promote environmental protection and inclusive sustainability . The very purpose is for the benefit of all worldwide. Not only one individual or a country is affected, in fact every individual and every country gets affected. We all must come together , understand the basic need of the hour and other allied issues and work in uni direction for the benefit of all to promote environmental protection and sustainability.
The aim is to raise awareness about environmental issues like climate change, pollution, deforestation and conservation. Moreover inspire and encourage individuals, communities, organizations and governments to take appropriate action as deemed necessary and most befitting for an inclusive and sustainable future. A better future of our coming generations down the line for which they will remember all of us . To inspire people to work together to protect the Earth and its resources for future generations is most essential requirement without a second thought and without any doubts. Therefore all must cooperate and support and pull together in one direction that is to ensure “ A BETTER , PROSPEROUS AND PROTECTED FUTURE FOR OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS “
Global Earth Day 2025, which will be celebrated on Tuesday 22 April, will be held for the 55th time with the theme ‘Our Power, Our Planet’.
By taking part in activities like picking up litter , proper disposal of waste and planting trees, we are making our world a developed, happier and healthier place to live .
What is the sole purpose of Earth Day? Purpose is to diversify, educate and activate the environmental movement worldwide.
Earth Day is celebrated to raise awareness about environmental issues such as pollution, deforestation and climate change. It encourages individuals, communities, and governments to take action to preserve and protect the Earth’s natural resources. Why ? Our natural resources are fast depleting due to their blatant misuse, overuse without least realizing that we are leaving behind problems for our future generations. Therefore we all must act responsibly and preserve and protect natural resources, come what may for our future generations. A FOOD FOR THOUGHT.
