US Vice President JD Vance & His Family Leave From PM Modi's Residence After Holding Bilateral Talks (VIDEO)

New Delhi: US Vice President JD Vance and his family has left from the residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi after holding a bilateral meeting. Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the Vice President of the United States, JD Vance, along with his wife Usha Vance and their children, at his residence Lok Kalyan Marg in Delhi on Monday (April 21)

Prime Minister Modi fondly recalled his visit to Washington DC in February and his fruitful discussions with President Trump, which laid down the roadmap for close cooperation between India and the US, leveraging the strengths of Make America Great Again (MAGA) and Viksit Bharat 2047, according to a government statement.

Prime Minister Modi and Vice President Vance reviewed and positively assessed the progress in various areas of bilateral cooperation, the statement said.

The statement further said, “They welcomed the significant progress in the negotiations for a mutually beneficial India-US Bilateral Trade Agreement focused on the welfare of the people of the two countries. Likewise, they noted continued efforts towards enhancing cooperation in energy, defence, strategic technologies and other areas.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also conveyed greetings to President Donald Trump and said he looks forward to Trump's visit to India later this year.

The meeting was also crucial as it comes at a time when the two nations are negotiating on finalising of India-US bilateral trade deal amid President Donald Trump’s reciprocal tariffs, currently paused till July.

Vance and his family will be visiting Jaipur and Agra. They will go to Jaipur on Tuesday and is expected to visit Agra on April 23.
