PM Modi Welcomes US Vice President JD Vance, Wife Usha & Warmly Interacts With Their Kids At His Residence In Delhi (VIDEO)
New Delhi, April 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the Vice President of the United States, JD Vance, along with his wife Usha Vance and their children, at his residence in Delhi on Monday (April 21). A video shared by journalist Sidhant Sibal on social media shows PM Modi warmly interacting and having a pleasant time with the children. He is seen smiling and engaging with them wholeheartedly in the video.
JD Vance, along with his family, arrived at PM Narendra Modi's residence which is located at Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi. He was accompanied by his three kids, Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel. A delegation of senior American officials was also along with him during the visit.
There are reports that PM Modi and JD Vance will hold bilateral talks on the trade pact and they will also discuss ways to boost overall trajectory of ties between the two of the world's largest democracies. The Ministry of External Affairs also said that the talks will be followed by a dinner which will be hosted by PM Narendra Modi.
After his official meetings, US Vice President JD Vance and his family will visit Jaipur and Agra. He will go to Jaipur on Tuesday and is expected to visit Agra on April 23. The Taj Mahal, a famous UNESCO World Heritage site, is being specially prepared for his visit. Many world leaders have visited the Taj Mahal in the past.
This is JD Vance’s first official trip to India and it will last four days, from April 21 to April 24. Earlier today, Vance visited the Akshardham Temple in Delhi.
His visit to India will end on Thursday, April 24, when he leaves the country at 6:40 am. According to the Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, the visit is important because India and the US will discuss key issues. The talks are expected to help make the relationship between the two countries even stronger.
