Infosys expands GCC practice, ropes in Shah as new GCC head

Infosys is establishing a dedicated global capability centre (GCC) practice, led by Deval Shah, to capitalize on the expanding GCC market. The company aims to secure deals for setting up new GCCs and supporting existing ones. Cognizant and Wipro are also actively engaging with GCCs, recognizing their strategic importance and the opportunities for partnership in areas like engineering and operations.
