UP Murder: Woman Kills Husband, Dismembers Body With Help Of Lover; Stuffed Trolley Bag Found In Field (VIDEO)

Lucknow: In a chilling crime that echoes the infamous Saurabh murder case of Meerut, a woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Deoria district allegedly murdered her husband with the help of her paramour, chopped his body in two, and stuffed the remains into a trolley bag in an attempt to dispose of them discreetly.

The victim, identified as 38-year-old Naushad Ahmed, had returned from Dubai just ten days before his gruesome murder. His mutilated body was discovered on Sunday (April 20) morning in a field, about 55 kilometers from his home in Bhatauli village.

Here's a visual from the crime scene:

Body Stuffed in Bag, Found by Farmer

According to a report by The Times of India, Ahmed's body was first discovered by Jitendra Giri, a local farmer, who had come to his field in the Patkhauli village with a harvester and spotted a suspicious-looking trolley bag abandoned in an empty plot nearby. Giri immediately alerted the police by dialling 112.

Senior officers, including Additional Superintendent of Police Arvind Verma and CO City Sanjay Reddy, reached the spot with forensic experts and a dog squad. “When the bag was opened, police found a male torso wrapped in plastic inside. The lower half of the body had been stuffed into a sack,” ASP Verma told TOI.

A foreign SIM card, photocopied documents, and a travel barcode with an airport tag confirmed the identity of the deceased.

Another blood-stained suitcase was later found at Naushad’s residence, suggesting that the accused first attempted to conceal the body there before using the trolley bag.

Wife Confesses to Murder Over Affair

Naushad’s wife, Raziya, was taken in for questioning and eventually confessed to the crime. “She and her lover, her nephew by relation, killed Naushad as he was becoming an obstacle in their illicit relationship,” ASP Verma told TOI.

The affair had been a source of local gossip and had led to a village panchayat a year ago, where Raziya promised to end the relationship. However, the romance resumed during Naushad’s time abroad.

Police are currently searching for the absconding lover, and multiple teams, including the district Special Operations Group, are involved in the manhunt.
