MP Girl Forcefully Fed Poison After She Refuses To Talk To Ex-Boyfriend, Dies

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A young girl died after her ex-boyfriend allegedly forcefully fed her poison in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur on Sunday. The victim refused to talk to him again and objected when he barged into her room late night. This made the accused angry.

After committing the crime, the accused stole her mobile phone and fled the scene.

According to information, the incident took place late Saturday night while the girl was sleeping in her room.

Around 12:30 am, Monu Patel from Kumbhwara village, located in the Majholi police station area, secretly entered her home. When the girl refused to fulfill his demands, he forced her to have poison.

Shortly after, the girl began vomiting, which woke her family members. They immediately took her to a government hospital in Majholi, but due to her deteriorating condition, she was referred to a private hospital in Jabalpur, where she passed away late Sunday night.

Before her death, the girl gave a statement to the police, naming Monu Patel as the person responsible for the crime. She told the police that she had been in contact with him for about a year but had stopped talking to him three months ago after a disagreement.

Despite her refusal, Monu kept pressuring her to continue their communication.

The girl's family said she was alone in her room at the time of the incident, while her parents were in another room, and her brother was outside the house.

The police have started a search for Monu Patel, who is currently on the run.
