Serie A postpones matches as Italian football mourns Pope Francis’ death

Following the death of Pope Francis at 88, Serie A has postponed four matches scheduled for Monday, including Torino vs. Udinese and Lazio vs. Genoa. The Italian football federation (FIGC) has also delayed all professional and amateur games. The Pope, remembered as a football enthusiast, was described by the FIGC as an example of Christian charity.
