Morning Hours (9:00 AM–11:00 AM)
Parking has been strictly prohibited on routes such as Sardar Patel Marg, Gurugram Road, Parade Road, Thimmaiya Marg, and Air Force Road. “Any vehicles found parked improperly in these zones will be towed and relocated to the traffic pit near Kalibari Mandir Marg, in front of Bhairon Temple,” the advisory read.
Midday (11:00 AM–2:00 PM)
Traffic will be diverted across Central Delhi, and no vehicles will be allowed to halt or park on major routes including C-Hexagon, Janpath Road, and Firoz Shah Road. Restrictions extend to Akshardham, MNLP, and the Noida Link Road as well.
Evening Hours (6:00 PM–9:00 PM)
Restrictions will return to Sardar Patel Marg and adjacent roads. Alternative routes have been suggested for smoother travel. “Commuters heading from 11 Murti to RML can use Vande Mataram Marg via Dhaula Kuan Flyover to R/A Shankar Road, Talkatora Road, and Sheikh Mujib-ur-Rehman Marg,” the advisory stated.
Travellers between Delhi Airport and Dhaula Kuan Flyover are advised to opt for Rao Tula Ram Marg during the restricted hours.
