Fire damages Shimla school

A major fire broke out at Sarasvati Vidya Mandir in Vikasnagar, Shimla, during the early hours of Sunday, damaging several school records, furniture, and a few rooms. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

The blaze started on the top floor and quickly spread, creating massive flames. Local residents noticed the fire and rushed to the spot, informing the fire department and helping to douse the flames. Firefighters managed to bring the situation under control.

District administration officials stated that the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are currently under investigation.
