Government warns about online booking scams targeting pilgrims of Kedarnath, Chaar Dhaam and other religious places

The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) has issued a warning regarding online booking scams targeting religious pilgrims and tourists. Fraudsters are using fake websites and social media to offer fraudulent services like helicopter bookings for Kedarnath and hotel reservations. The I4C advises verifying website authenticity, using official portals, and reporting scams to the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal.
