Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav Promises Irrigation Facility In Every Field
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated Maharishi Sandipni School building in Jawad in Neemuch district on Sunday.
He also dedicated and laid foundation stone of development works worth Rs 785 crore. He said irrigation facility would be provided to every field in Neemuch district.
The chief minister distributed laptops to meritorious students at the function. He said farmers would be provided solar pumps so that they would not have to pay hefty electricity bills.
Talking about Maharishi Sandipni School, Yadav said it was an ambitious initiative of state government, which would provide quality education to poor students.
He also laid foundation stone of Suvidhi Rayons Private Limited Morvan unit, which will make Neemuch a textile hub. Project will come up on 31 hectares at the cost of Rs 350 crore and will provide jobs to 2,000 youths. Jawad MLA Omprakash Saklecha was present on the occasion.
Cheetahs to boost tourism
After dedicating development works in Rampura in Neemuch, chief minister Yadav said arrival of cheetahs in Gandhi Sagar Sanctuary would boost tourism and create employment opportunities in Neemuch and Mandsaur.
Shedding light on government’s welfare schemes, he said industrial development rate was 12 per cent. He said solar pumps would be given to 32 lakh farmers in three years in the state. Farmers will get electricity connection for Rs 5. Deputy CM Jagdish Devda was also present at the programme.
Raise awareness to curb stubble burning: CM
Keeping in view the growing trend of stubble burning in the state, chief minister Mohan Yadav expressed the need to raise awareness to curb the malpractice.
He said super seeder and happy seeder should be provided to farmers, which will not require burning stubble and will also save latter’s time.
He stated this during video conference with divisional commissioners, district collectors, IGs and SPs on late Saturday night. He asked them to keep a watch on law and order situation and ensure adequate arrangements at procurement centres.
He also asked officials to prevent sale of substandard fruits and vegetables in the markets in view of summer season.
