Mumbai Crime News: Marine Drive Police File Case After Chief Judicial Magistrate's iPhone 14 Gets Stolen During IPL Match At Wankhede Stadium

Mumbai: The mobile phone of a Chief Judicial Magistrate was stolen while he was attending an IPL match at Wankhede Stadium. A case has been registered against an unknown accused at the Marine Drive police station.

About The Case

According to the FIR, Muzaffar Sheikh, 52, a magistrate working at the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court (Esplanade), has been residing in Sagar Building at Churchgate for the past three years. On April 17 evening, he had gone to Wankhede Stadium with his family to watch a match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians.

At 7.15 pm, while standing in the entry queue outside Hinduja HVB Global Academy near Gate No. 4, he found his iPhone 14 missing from his trouser pocket. The police are currently investigating the theft using CCTV footage and technical support.
