Cops attach vehicle of terror aide in Srinagar
In a move to disrupt terror-support network, Budgam Police have attached a vehicle belonging to a known terrorist associate under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), 1967.
A police spokesperson said the seized vehicle was linked to a terror module and in possession of Mudasir Ahmad Rather, a resident of Kantbagh Kralpora, Budgam. The seizure was related to an FIR registered at the Chadoora police station. “This action underscores the zero-tolerance policy of the Budgam Police,” police said.
Meanwhile, Bandipora Police said it has attached property worth lakhs of rupees belonging to a drug peddler under the NDPS Act.
Police have attached a single-storied residential house and a car, with a total value of about Rs 13.62 lakh, belonging to a drug peddler in a case registered under NDPS Act at Bandipora police station.
