Mumbai Local Train Update: Central Railway Announces Overnight 'Power Block' Between Diva & Mumbra From April 20-22

Mumbai: The Central Railway has announced a traffic and power block between Diva and Mumbra, scheduled from Sunday, April 20, to Tuesday, April 22. The block will be in operation from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM on the nights of April 20/21 (Sunday/Monday) and April 22/23 (Tuesday/Wednesday) between Diva and Mumbra stations. The information was shared via X on Saturday. The block has been planned to facilitate the launch of a rail section conversion between the two stations.

An X post shared by the Central Railway stated, "Traffic & Power Blocks. Due to the launch of the Rail Section Conversion between Diva and Mumbra, blocks will be in place from 20.04.2025 (Sunday) to 22.04.2025 (Tuesday). Inconvenience is regretted. Please bear with us."

Details About Block:

The block will be operated from 01.00 hrs to 5.00 hrs on date 20/21.04.2025 (Sunday/Monday night time) and 22/23.04.2025 (Tuesday/Wednesday night) between Diva and Mumbra.

Repercussions due to the block on date 20/21.04.2025 (Sunday/Monday night) will be as follows:

Regulation of Mail/Express Trains:

Train no. 15181 Mau-LTT Mumbai Express will be regulated in the 6th line at Diva from 03:05 hrs to 03.30 hrs (25 min)

Train no. 11020 Banaras - CSMT Express will be regulated at Kalyan from 03.00 hrs to 3.15 hrs (15 min)

Repercussions due to the block on date 22/23.04.2025 (Tuesday/Wednesday night) will be as follows:

Train no. 12102 Shalimaar-LTT Mumbai express will be regulated on 6th line at Diva from 03.05 hrs to 03.30 hrs (25 min)

Some UP mail trains will run on the 6th line between Diva and Thane during the block period.
