MP Transco Organizes State-Level Workshop on Technical Knowledge Sharing

A two-day state-level workshop on Technical Knowledge Sharing was successfully organized at the headquarters of Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company (MP Transco), Jabalpur. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 25 assistant and junior engineers from across the state.

Inaugurating the workshop, MP Transco Managing Director, Er. Sunil Tiwari, highlighted the importance of continuous learning and knowledge-sharing in the power sector. He stated, “With the retirement of experienced personnel, there is a growing need for existing engineers and staff to enhance their technical skills and share their expertise. Learning is a continuous process, and workshops like these are designed to promote practical implementation of advanced techniques at the site level.”

Er. Tiwari urged participants to take full advantage of the high-level training being provided by some of MP Transco’s most skilled engineers. He emphasized that technical proficiency leads not only to better field performance but also earns individuals respect and recognition in the organization.

The workshop was conceptualized and coordinated by Superintending Engineer Mr. Sunil Yadav. Chief Engineer Mr. Sandeep Gaikwad graced the inaugural session with his presence. Bhopal Superintending Engineer Shri Rajesh Kumar Shandilya and Executive Engineer Shri Rajeshwar Singh Thakur participated as guest faculty members, delivering sessions on key technical topics.

During the workshop, expert engineers shared their knowledge on crucial aspects such as commissioning and testing of power transformers in substations, maintenance and utility of capacitor banks, and the use of optical fiber and related equipment. Executive Engineers Mr. Narendra Singh Patel, Mr. Chandrakant Srivastava, Mr. Pranay Joshi, and Mr. Ravendra Patel also played key roles in facilitating the training sessions.

MP Transco continues its commitment to technical excellence and capacity building through such initiatives aimed at empowering its workforce with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills.
