Thousands of students who appeared for the Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) examinations are gearing up for the Class 10 and Class 12 Board exam results on April 19, at 11 AM.

Students who appeared for the exams can access their results on the official websites — https://ubse.uk.gov.in and https://uaresults.nic.in. With just a few clicks, they’ll be able to view and download their provisional mark sheets.

Where And How To Check UBSE Results?

Once the results go live, students should visit any of the official portals and enter their roll number or required credentials to download their provisional mark sheets. These online documents will include subject-wise marks and other essential personal details.

However, it’s important to note that these provisional mark sheets are not the final official documents. Students will need to collect their original mark sheets directly from their schools in the days following the announcement.

Quick Look At UBSE Exam Timeline

The UBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams were held between February 21 and March 11, 2025. This continues the board’s recent trend of wrapping up the examination process early in the academic calendar.

Last year’s Board exams were conducted from February 27 to March 16. This was the first time the Board held exams in February and concluded them by March. Results were then released on April 30, 2024.

In 2024, more than 94,000 students appeared for the UBSE Class 12 exams, while more than 1.16 lakh students sat for the Class-10 exams. The results revealed an overall pass percentage of 89.14% for Class 10 and 82.63% for Class 12, both showing an improvement compared to the 2023 figures.

Back in 2023, the pass rates stood at 85.17% for Class 10 and 80.98% for Class 12. Girls outshone boys in both classes.

What To Do If You Get Low Scores Or Fail To Clear The Exams?

If the Uttarakhand Board result is not as per your expectations, there is no need to panic. Even after the results, students have options to improve their scores. These include appearing for supplementary examination and re-evaluation.

Supplementary exams are a second chance for those who fail in one or two subjects or get very low marks. Uttarakhand Board conducts supplementary exams after some time to help such students avoid wasting another year. Choosing this option, students appear for the exam in the same subjects in which they had failed or scored low.

For this exam, they have to apply online first and pay the prescribed fee. If students utilise this chance properly, they can be admitted to the next class in the same academic year.

Re-evaluation is an option for those students who believe that their answer sheets were not checked properly, and they ought to have scored more. Such students can apply for re-evaluation, under which their answer sheet is checked again.

The application for revaluation typically starts within a few days of the result announcement, and for this, an online form has to be filled out. A fee must also be deposited. If any mistake is found in the evaluation of the answers, then the marks are increased, which can improve the merit and further options of the student.

However, failure in more than two subjects would mean that the students will have to repeat the class.
