'Meri Maut Ka Karan...': UP Man Records Video Before Hanging Self In Mumbai, Blames Wife's Extra-Marital Affair

Mumbai: A tragic incident has come to light from Mumbai, where a young man from Uttar Pradesh's Rampur committed suicide. He was hurt by his wife's infidelity. Before taking the extreme step he made two videos and shared them on social media. In these videos, he has mentioned about his wife's alleged infidelity. The man worked at a furniture shop in Mumbai's Malad and has been identified as Arif.

Arif in the video has alleged that his wife was having an affair with another man. Along with this, he also accused his In-laws of mentally harassing him. Arif committed suicide on Tuesday (15-04-2025) However, the videos have now gone viral.

"Mere suicide karne ki wajah meri biwi hai aur ek ladka hai Kasim", which roughly translates to "I am committing suicide and my wife and a man named Kasim is responsible for the same."

He further said,"Mera divorce nahi hua, divorce paper farzi bannaye hai aur merko bol rahe hai divorce ho gaya. Mei suicide karne ja raha hu aur uska zimedar Jeba (Wife) Kasim, Kasim ke ghar wale, Jeba ke ghar wale honge." Which roughly translates to "I am not divorced, the divorce papers are fake and they are telling me I am divorced. I am committing suicide and Jeba (Wife) Kasim and their family members are responsible for it."

He also blamed the police claiming that he had reached out to the police but they did not extend him any help. In the second video, he posted another video he also named another induvial Faizan Malik.He also blamed Faizan for leaving his wife. He also said Faizan owns a hardware shop.

In the second video he can be heard saying, "Mere maut ka karan Faizan, Kasim, Jeba, Jeba ke ghar wale hai, jinki wajah se mei suicide kar raha hu." In the video he also claimed that his wife no longer lives with him.

Arif's body was found hanging on the tree. After the police was informed about the suicide they reached the spot and brought down Arif's body from the tree and sent the body for post-mortem.

The deceased's family has claimed that Arif had spoken to the them on Tuesday morning. At that time, the family had no clue that Arif would take such a step. The Mumbai Police informed about his suicide at around seven o'clock that evening. As soon as they got the information, Arif's brother Sharif left for Mumbai.
