Man Shot In Head During Dance Dispute At Wedding In Gwalior, Dies; Police Register FIR

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A tragic incident was reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior district in which a man was shot in his head during a violence erupted during a wedding celebration on Thursday night.

According to information, the matter pertains to Akbai village, under the Dabra Dehat police station area of Gwalior district. The deceased has been identified as Sunil Rawat.

The incident took place during a wedding ceremony where people were dancing to DJ music. 

Reason of violence unknown 

An argument broke out between two groups over an unknown issue related to the dance. As the matter escalated and one person opened fire with a gun. The bullet hit Sunil Rawat in the head.

Sunil was rushed to a nearby hospital, and then referred to Gwalior hospital due to the severe injuries. Unfortunately, Sunil succumbed to his injuries during the treatment.

FIR registered

Police have taken the matter seriously and have filed a case of attempted murder. Also, the charges are likely to be upgraded to murder after Sunil’s death. The Dabra Dehat police have inspected the crime scene and formed teams to search for the accused.

Authorities have appealed for peace and assured the public that the accused will be caught soon. 

Meanwhile, police are investigating all aspects of the incident and checking CCTV footage from the area to uncover the full truth.
