Madhya Pradesh: The barren land of Mauganj district is set to transform, opening a new chapter for the developed Vindhya region and contributing to the prosperity of local farmers. For this significant initiative, the Honourable Deputy Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Rajendra Shukla, along with other department officials, transferred the registry documents of the land to Patanjali Yogpeeth through General Secretary Acharya Balakrishna.
Following this, Acharya Ji inspected the local land alongside Mauganj District Magistrate Shri Sanjay Kumar Jain and engaged in detailed discussions regarding future plans. During this occasion, Acharya Ji expressed that Patanjali's vision for the prosperity of farmers, under the guidance of the revered Swamiji, will soon become a reality through Patanjali's service project.
Acharya Ji emphasised that by combining our sense of nationalism and duty with a commitment to social welfare, we can achieve significant outcomes for the public good. He mentioned that Patanjali has developed a comprehensive and holistic plan for the Vindhya region, focusing on industrial policy and investment promotion. This initiative aims to enhance farmers' prosperity in the state, create employment opportunities, and foster regional development.
As part of this scheme, Patanjali intends to establish an industrial park in the village of Ghurehta, located in the Mauganj district of the Rewa region in Madhya Pradesh. The goal of this project is not only to stimulate economic development but also to raise awareness and provide skill development among local communities, ultimately creating a prosperous and self-reliant agricultural sector.
Acharya Ji stated that this innovative initiative aims to establish an agriculture-based model in the state. This model will incorporate crop diversification, training centres, seed units, and primary processing units, ensuring that farmers receive better resources and technical support. Additionally, local residents will benefit from Patanjali's education and health services. Acharya Ji emphasised that Patanjali is already working towards crop diversification in the state, which will enhance the productivity of local agriculture and improve farmers' livelihoods.
Acharya Ji stated that the successful implementation of this project is expected to increase farmers' incomes, empowering them financially. Additionally, this initiative will reduce their reliance on pesticides, chemical fertilisers, and excessive water use, thereby decreasing production costs and allowing them to adopt more sustainable agricultural practices. The effective execution of this scheme will greatly contribute to the prosperity of the agricultural sector in the state, enhance farmers' skills through agricultural training, generate employment, promote social development, and boost tourism.
