Bihar Shocker: Darbhanga Boy 'Returns To Life' After Cremation
Bihar News: A shocking case has emerged from Darbhanga, Bihar. A boy, who was presumed dead and cremated a month ago, returned alive. Yes! You read that right. The boy's 'return' has now raised several questions, especially about the identity of the person who was cremated.
Around a month and a half ago, a dead person was mistakenly identified as Bhola Ram by his family at the Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital, and his last rites were performed. Alleging murder, the family had created a massive ruckus on the road, following Bhola Ram's 'death'. At the time, Bhola Ram's family protested and damaged police vehicles. The family also received a compensation of Rs 4 lakh from the government.
Following the incident, Mabbi police station head Deepak Kumar was suspended. The question now is, who was the person identified as Bhola Ram at DMCH?
What Did The Minor Say In Court?
Bhola Ram appeared before the Darbhanga District Court and claimed to be alive and narrated the day he was allegedly abducted. The minor stated that he was playing cricket on a university field when three or four people approached him and held a cloth over his mouth. He said he couldn't remember anything after that.
He learned a few days later that he was in Nepal. He managed to escape from their clutches two days ago and return home. He video-called his brother first to inform him that he was alive. His brother then went and brought him home. Later, instead of informing the police, he appeared before the court.
If Bhola Ram Is Alive, Who Was The Deceased?
On February 8, Bhola Ram's family reported him missing to the Mabbi police station. On February 26, a mutilated body (with a severed hand and leg) was found in the Allalppatti area along the railway tracks. The family identified the body as of Bhola Ram's at the hospital.
The police are now left wondering who the deceased was and how his identity can be established.
