Politics: BJP Yuva Morcha protests outside Congress HQ over National Herald case

Tensions flared in the national capital as BJP Yuva Morcha workers staged a protest outside the Congress headquarters in New Delhi, targeting the party over the National Herald case. The protest comes in response to the Enforcement Directorate’s recent chargesheet against senior Congress leaders, including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Demonstrators carried placards, raised slogans, and accused the Congress of massive financial irregularities and misuse of party funds. The protest, led by top Yuva Morcha leaders, aimed to highlight what they termed as the “corruption culture” within the Congress party. BJP's youth wing demanded accountability and action, alleging that the Gandhi family used the National Herald for personal gain under the guise of public interest. The protest follows two days of demonstrations by Congress workers, who alleged political vendetta behind the ED’s action. Heavy security was deployed outside the Congress office to prevent clashes. Both parties have traded sharp accusations in the aftermath of the chargesheet, intensifying the political temperature ahead of key elections.
