Pimpri-Chinchwad: 10% Property Tax Discount For Online Payments Before June 30, Says PCMC

The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has appealed to property owners to take timely advantage of the existing concessions available on property tax for financial year 2025–26. With 6,15,863 registered properties in the city, PCMC has already started its collection drive, encouraging citizens to make early and online payments.

Citizens who pay their full property tax by June 30, 2025, can avail themselves of a total 10% discount, which includes 5% for early payment and an additional 5% for using the online payment method.

During the first quarter of FY 2024–25, a total of 3,49,838 property owners availed themselves of this scheme, contributing ₹435 crore in property tax. PCMC has urged citizens to continue this positive trend and pay their taxes online before the June 30 deadline to receive the maximum benefit.

In addition to the 10% discount for early and online payments, PCMC continues to offer other standard concessions under its property tax system, which can be availed up to June 30, 2025:

- 30% concession on general tax for residential properties solely owned by women.

- 50% concession on general tax for properties owned by persons with 40% or more disability, including the visually impaired, physically disabled, mentally challenged, and those with hearing or speech impairments.

- 100% concession for recipients of gallantry awards, war widows, unmarried dependents of martyred soldiers, and ex-servicemen.

- 5% to 10% concession for properties rated 3 to 5 stars under Green Building ratings.

- 5% to 10% concession on general tax for residential properties implementing composting systems, STP plants, or a zero-waste concept.

- 4% to 10% concession on general tax for educational buildings with on-site composting, zero-waste practices, rainwater harvesting, or solar power systems.

- 2% concession for property owners who have consistently paid property tax for the last three years.

Women, PwDs and ex-servicemen who availed themselves of these concessions in FY 2024–25 do not need to reapply for the current year—they will automatically receive the applicable benefits.

“PCMC has generated property tax bills online for the financial year 2025–26. Citizens who pay their property tax online by June 30, 2025, will receive a minimum 10% concession on general tax. We appeal to all property owners to take advantage of these benefits by making early and online payments,” said Shekhar Singh, Commissioner & Administrator, PCMC.

“In FY 2024–25, timely payments by property owners helped PCMC collect ₹966 crore in revenue. Several beneficial concessions continue this year as well, and citizens are encouraged to pay their taxes early to avail themselves of these,” added Pradip Jambhale Patil, Additional Commissioner, PCMC.
