AAP slams Bajwa’s bomb threat claim

Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and spokesperson Pawan Kumar Tinu criticised Congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa for making misleading statements that could create panic among the people of the state.

Tinu addressed Bajwa’s recent claim to the media 50 bombs had entered the state, with 18 already detonated and 32 still remaining. He called Bajwa’s statement irresponsible and warned such remarks could compromise the state’s security.

Tinu pointed out, as a senior leader, Bajwa should have reported any such concerns to the police and the Punjab Chief Minister. However, he accused Bajwa of failing to act responsibly and suggested that Bajwa was attempting to politicise the situation rather than ensuring public safety.

He said when questioned by the police, Bajwa did not cooperate with the investigation. Tinu questioned whether Bajwa and the Congress party valued their sources of information more than the safety and security of Punjab’s people.

In addition, Tinu raised concerns over the whereabouts of Congress MP Charanjit Singh Channi, claiming people were searching for him and some had even put up posters declaring him “missing.” Tinu referred to Channi as a “part-time MP” and pointed out that numerous tasks related to his responsibilities remained unfinished.
