Dhanda named member of KU executive council

Praveen Dhanda, Assistant Professor and Head of the history department at Dyal Singh College, Karnal, has been named a member of the executive council (EC) of Kurukshetra University. He contested for the post in the recently concluded elections. He is set to serve as an EC member for

two years.

Dhanda has been working at the history department of Dyal Singh College for the past 12 years.

In 2022, his research paper was named the Best Paper at the Haryana History Congress.

He completed his PhD under the guidance of Raghavendra Tanwar, Chairman of the Indian Council of Historical Research and a Padma Shri awardee.

Faculty members and students of the college congratulated Dhanda for the achievement.
