IPL 2025: 3 Records Travis Head Can Shatter Against MI
The 33rd match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will be played between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium.
While both teams are struggling for momentum this season, all eyes will be on Travis Head - SRH's in-form opener - who is on the verge of achieving three major milestones.
1. One Hit Away from 50 IPL Sixes: With 49 sixes and 106 fours to his name in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Head is just one big shot away from completing 50 sixes in the tournament - a landmark he could very well reach against Mumbai Indians (MI).
2. 1000 IPL Runs Within Reach: Travis Head has scored 986 runs in 31 IPL matches so far. He needs just 14 more runs to enter the elite 1000-run club. Head has a solid average of 36.51 in the league, with one century and seven fifties under his belt. His highest score in IPL stands at 102.
3. 200 Sixes in T20 Cricket: In his overall T20 career, Travis Head has scored 4150 runs in 152 matches, including two centuries and 25 half-centuries. He currently has 197 sixes in the format and is just three maximums away from reaching 200.

Travis Head hails Rohit Sharma
Travis Head and Rohit Sharma are set to face off tonight in the high-voltage clash between Hyderabad and Mumbai. Ahead of the encounter, Head praised Rohit, saying the former India captain has taken the game to new heights.
"I've learnt from, I think learnt inspired by watching Rohit Sharma. I haven't spent a lot of time with him, really, just by the way he's actions and the way he's played and the way he's led India over the last couple of years. Think that's another opening batter in other formats of the game. Someone who has taken the game on and inspired a few guys and led from the front and been extremely aggressive. So it's something that I've really enjoyed watching" said Travis Head on Star Sports.
