EaseMyTrip Denies Links To Mahadev Betting App After ED Raids
Travel booking platform EaseMyTrip has released a statement addressing the Enforcement Directorate's recent search of its premises in connection with the ongoing probe into the Mahadev Betting App. The company clarified that it has no links to the app and firmly denied any association with the entities under investigation.
In an official statement, the online travel platform said, "As per information available in the public domain, the ED conducted searches at over 50 locationsof various persons/ corporates. Amongst them one was EaseMyTrip premises.”
“While EaseMyTrip has no direct or indirect association with the Mahadev Betting App or any otherbetting platform, we remain fully committed to cooperating with the authorities throughout thecourse of the investigation,” added an EaseMyTrip spokesperson.

Mahadev Betting App Case
Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is actively investigating the "Mahadev Online Book" case—an alleged illegal betting syndicate accused of facilitating online gambling through multiple platforms. According to the ED, the network enables new user registrations, generates user IDs, and launders money through a complex web of Benami bank accounts.
The investigation was launched following multiple FIRs filed by the Chhattisgarh Police. Preliminary findings by the ED suggest that Mahadev Online Book operates out of Dubai and franchises its operations to associates in India under a 70:30 profit-sharing arrangement. The Mahadev Online Betting (MOB) app case gained national attention after the ED alleged that several senior politicians and bureaucrats from Chhattisgarh were involved in the illegal betting operation and associated financial transactions connected to the app.
