Skoda Rolls Out Updated Kodiaq SUV in Indian Market
Skoda Auto India has introduced the highly anticipated second-generation Kodiaq SUV, coinciding with the brand’s 25th anniversary in the Indian market and its 130th global anniversary. The new Kodiaq joins Skoda’s refreshed 2025 lineup, which also includes the upcoming Kylaq, the brand’s first sub-4m SUV offering.

The latest iteration of the Kodiaq is powered by a robust 2.0 TSI petrol engine, delivering 150kW (204 PS) of power and 320Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a smooth seven-speed DSG automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system. Built on the advanced MQB37 platform, the Kodiaq is available in two distinct seven-seater variants: the sporty Sportline and the luxurious Selection L&K. Notably, the vehicle is assembled in India and boasts an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 14.86 km/l.
In terms of dimensions, the SUV measures 4,758mm in length, 1,864mm in width, and 1,679mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,791mm. When fully loaded, the ground clearance is 155mm. The Kodiaq offers significant luggage capacity, starting at 281 litres with all seats upright, expanding to 786 litres with the third row folded down, and a maximum of 1,976 litres with both rear rows folded.

The interior design offers two distinct ambiences: a sporty all-black theme for the Sportline and sophisticated Cognac leather upholstery for the Selection L&K. Key interior features include a large 32.77-cm touchscreen infotainment system, innovative Smart Dials for intuitive control of various vehicle functions, a redesigned gear selector positioned on the steering column, a convenient rear tablet holder, front seats equipped with a massage function, enhanced cabin quietness thanks to acoustic windows, and a premium 13-speaker Canton sound system.
Prioritizing safety, the new Kodiaq comes equipped with 9 airbags, a panoramic sunroof, and rear window sunblinds. The exterior design is highlighted by striking LED Crystallinium headlamps, a distinctive horizontal LED light strip across the grille, and trim-specific styling elements finished in either Dark Chrome (Sportline) or Glossy Black (Selection L&K).
The SUV is available in a palette of six exterior colours, with the elegant Bronx Gold being exclusive to the Selection L&K variant and the stylish Steel Grey reserved for the Sportline. Pricing for the new Skoda Kodiaq starts at ₹46.89 lakh and extends up to ₹48.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
Skoda is also offering a comprehensive after-sales package, including a standard warranty of 5 years or 125,000 km, 10 years of roadside assistance, and one year of complimentary maintenance through the Skoda Supercare program.
