Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5 contestant Priyanka Deshpande got married for the second time on April 16, and she revealed her husband to be DJ Vasi Sachi. The two tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in the presence of their family members and close friends.
Priyanka took to her Instagram handle on Wednesday evening to announce the wedding. "16.04.2025. Life update: Going to be chasing sunsets with this one (sic)," she wrote. In the photos, the newlyweds can be seen smiling their hearts out and being showered with love by their near and dear ones.
Who is DJ Vasi Sachi?
For those unawares, Vasi Sachi is a well-known name in the entertainment circles and is one of the most sought after DJs down south. He is known to have performed in some of the biggest clubs and high-profile parties in Tamil Nadu.
Not just that, but he is also a successful entrepreneur and has an event management firm named Clique 187, which has handled some big fat weddings and other grand events.
According to reports, Priyanka and Vasi met at the latter's event where the former was hosting. Sparks flew between the two and they together journeyed from being friends to lovers.
Priyanka Deshpande's first marriage
Priyanka, who is one of the highest-paid South Indian television presenters, was earlier married to Praveen Kumar. She got married to him in 2016 after dating for several years, but in 2022, reports of their divorce surfaced online.
While she dismissed the reports back then, fans noticed how it was only her mother who entered the Bigg Boss Tamil 5 house during the family week, and how throughout her stay, she refrained from speaking about Praveen.
Praveen's absence from the show and from Priyanka's social media further fuelled the divorce rumours, but the two remained tightlipped.
