Mumbai Metro Line 7A: TBM breakthrough on Andheri East–CSMIA stretch; line to offer direct link from Dahisar East to airport

Mumbai's Metro Line 7A achieved a significant milestone with the TBM breakthrough, completing the 1.647-km downline tunnel between Andheri East and CSMIA. This marks MMRDA's first underground metro tunnel breakthrough, overcoming tough geological challenges. The 3.4-km extension will enhance connectivity to the airport and integrate with other metro lines, aiming to reduce traffic congestion.
