The Nawabs of Pataudi have always managed to come under public glare. Whether it is legendary cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi’s wife and actress Sharmila Tagore or son Saif Ali Khan, the royal Pataudi family has always been people’s favourite. Recently, another member of their family, Soha Ali Khan, who took a brief hiatus, has finally made a comeback. The actress returned to the silver screen with the horror film Chhorii 2. In one of the interviews, when Soha was promoting the film, she reflected on an incident when her great-aunt was slapped by a ghost at Peeli Kothi, next to Pataudi Palace.
In the conversation, Soha revealed that way before, her family used to live in Peeli Kothi, which is next to Pataudi Palace. However, after a while, they witnessed some unusual activities taking place. One day, the terror of those activities reached its peak and the family had to vacate that property overnight.
Soha stated, “I don’t know how true that is because, obviously, I wasn’t present then. But apparently, my great-aunt was slapped by a ghost, and the mark was visible on her face.”
Even though she wasn’t there at the time of the incident, Soha says that there must be something due to which the family had to move out quickly, and the property still remains empty.
“Ek khandar jaisa hai (it’s like a ruin). There must be a reason why people are not occupying that place,” Soha exclaimed.
Meanwhile, coming back to Soha’s film Chhorii 2, the movie has garnered good reviews from the audience as well as critics. The movie is premiering on Amazon Prime Video for those who wish to watch the film. The movie is directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Vikram Malhotra.
Apart from Soha, the movie also features Nushrratt Bharuccha as the lead actress.
