Kris Letang undergoes heart surgery at the age of 37
Pittsburgh Penguins' Kris Letang, 37, had heart surgery for a birth defect. The surgery was successful. Letang hopes to play again in the NHL. He discovered the issue in 2014 after a stroke. Doctors advised surgery after a second stroke in 2022. Letang will need four to six weeks to recover. He has two years left on his contract.
