DC vs RR, IPL 2025, Match 32: Sanju Samson Wins Toss & Opts To Bowl First In Delhi, Both Sides Unchanged

The toss at the Arun Jaitley Stadium went in favour of Rajasthan Royals' skipper Sanju Samson, who won the toss and opted to bowl first against the Delhi Capitals. Samson reasoned that the wicket will get better to bat on as the game progresses and Capitals' captain Axar Patel said he would have done the same.

Both Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals are coming off defeats as they gear up to face one another at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on April 16, Wednesday. The Royals need a win badly on Wednesday to save their campaign, given they have already succumbed to four defeats in six matches.
The Royals bounced back to win two matches after defeats in the first couple of games. However, they again suffered losses to the Gujarat Titans and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The Royals' all three facets are yet to click and another defeat on Wednesday will make it an uphill task for them to qualify for the top four.
Meanwhile, the Capitals will be rather relaxed despite the narrow 12-run loss to the Mumbai Indians at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. However, they need their top-order batters to come to the party and it remains to be seen if Faf du Plessis will be fit enough to return for the Capitals as the right-hander can solve their batting woes significantly. The Capitals' spinners could have a field day in Jaipur's low and slow surface on Wednesday.
