Global Spotlight On MANIT Bhopal: Foreign Delegates Visit, Boosting Campus Drive
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal, continues to strengthen its global reputation by becoming a key point of interest for international recruiters.
The Training and Placement Cell hosted DHL’s senior international IT leadership—Johan Burgs, Global Head of Digital Solutions (Singapore), and Martin Fritzl, Head of Intelligent Automation (Central Europe)—on campus for a strategic panel discussion. The dialogue focused on aligning NIT Bhopal’s top-tier talent with DHL’s global innovation goals, especially in the IT and automation domains.
The visiting leaders expressed confidence in NIT Bhopal’s potential to become a leading international recruitment hub and assured their support in integrating the institute into global hiring networks.
The Training and Placement Cell, under the guidance of Prof. Aruna Saxena, Programme Coordinator and Head of the Cell, conducted a three-day workshop on “Transform Your Profile, Skills, and Career Path” from 12th to 14th April to train students on LinkedIn profile enhancement, led by Mr. Justin V. Thomas.
A key part of the session involved demonstrating how students can use AI-powered tools to optimize their LinkedIn profiles and build ATS (Applicant Tracking System)-friendly resumes, increasing their chances of clearing digital hiring filters.
This initiative complements MANIT’s exceptional placement performance in recent years. This year, 80% of the students are already placed, with the highest package at ₹85 LPA, an average package of ₹27 LPA, and a median salary of ₹16 LPA in the Computer Science branch. More than 50 students received offers exceeding ₹50 LPA, and 150 students were offered packages above ₹20 LPA.
Prof. Aruna Saxena, TPO, emphasized that these accomplishments are the result of three years of sustained efforts, including regular curriculum upgrades aligned with industry demands, and a strong focus on research and innovation—alongside insightful sessions on career development skills. MANIT will be the first institute at the national level to use business world literacy tools for recruitment purposes.
Dean of Institutional Development and International Relations, Prof. S.P.S. Rajput, and Dean of Student Welfare, Prof. Shailendra Jain, commended the initiative of the Training and Placement Cell, appreciating the students' active participation and adaptability to modern placement techniques.
Prof. K.K. Shukla, Director of MANIT, praised the Cell’s future-oriented approach and emphasized the need to attract global firms offering crore-level packages by preparing students not just technically, but also in terms of business acumen and global adaptability.
