'Every Other Competition Is Just Behind', Responds Sam Billings To Reporter's Question; Shuts Down IPL vs PSL Comparison; Video

England and Lahore Qalandars keeper-batter Sam Billings shut down a question from a reporter about PSL and IPL comparison. With Billings currently plying his trade for the Lahore Qalandars in the 2025 edition of the PSL, the Englishman said every other T20 tournament is trying to become the second-best behind IPL.

The present year is the first occasion that PSL and the IPL are clashing. The IPL, which began in 2008, has established itself as the biggest T20 tournament, with all other countries following suit to create their own. Meanwhile, the PSL has entered it's tenth year and have managed to attract overseas stars like David Warner, Daryl Mitchell, Tim Seifert, Ben McDermott and many others.

Speaking during a presser in a video shared by a Pakistan journalist, Billings answered the below at the reporter's question about the comparison between PSL and IPL:

"You want me to say something silly? It's hard to look past the IPL as the premier competition in the world, it's very obvious , every other competition is just behind, you know in England we are trying to do the same like PSL as the second best competition in world, Big Bash too trying to do the same."
