Bhavika Sharma Aka Savi To Make Comeback In Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin After Show's Poor TRP Ratings Post-Leap?
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is currently struggling to maintain its TRP ratings ever since the third-generation leap, which marked the end of the Savi (Bhavika Sharma) and Rajat (Hitesh Bharadwaj) storyline. The new cast includes Sanam Johar, Param Singh, and Vaibhavi Hankare in lead roles. However, the show hasn't regained its former popularity.
In an attempt to revive the show's popularity, the makers are reportedly planning to bring back Bhavika, according to a report in Tellychakkar. However, an official confirmation is awaited.
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has undergone several changes since its inception, initially starring Neil Bhatt, Ayesha Singh, and Aishwarya Sharma in the lead roles. The second generation featured Bhavika, Shakti Arora, and Sumit Singh. Since June 2024, the series stars Bhavikaalongside Hitesh Bharadwaj and Amayra Khurana.
Premiered in 2020, the show was initially a loose adaptation of Bengali series Kusum Dola.
Last month, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin was out from the BARC (Broadcast Audience Research Council) top 10 shows list every week.
Last week, Udne Ki Aasha starring Kanwar Dhillon and Neha Harsora, Anupamaa featuring Rupali Ganguly at the second position with 2.0 ratings, and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, led by Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit, secured the third spot with 2.0 ratings.
Recently, Param, who plays Neelkant Pradhan, reacted to the new generation being the reason for drop in low ratings. He told India Forums, "I think there's not one thing which can be blamed. It is a cumulative thing. I don't know, exactly nobody knows. The business is trial and error and people want to experiment. It's art."
He added, "You want to just show what you believe in and what, what you want to show like basically if you are convinced you want to just show something which you have not done before and if it works, it's great. If it doesn't work, you just try harder."
