Disturbing Video Viral: Villagers Assault Stray Dog, Pull Out Its Teeth With Pliers In MP's Bhind
Bhind (Madhya Pradesh): A case of brutality with a street dog was reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Bhind district on Wednesday, when the innocent canine was mercilessly assaulted, pinned on ground with a cot and its teeth were pulled out using pliers.
The inhumane incident was captured in a video, which is being widely circulated on social media.
After receiving a complaint, police registered a case against three accused and launched a search. All the accused and suspects have been identified with the help of the video.
Let dog go after assault
According to Daboh Police Station in-charge Rajesh Sharma, the incident took place in Rawatpura Khurd village near Murawali. Here, a group of individuals lured a stray dog with biscuits and tied it with a rope. They then bound the dog to a charpai (cot) and beat it mercilessly with rods and ropes.
In a horrifying act, the accused even used pliers to break the dog’s teeth. Shockingly, they recorded the entire incident themselves and later released the dog. Reason behind the assault is yet to be known.
Police in search of accused
The video of assault was sent by local villagers to members of an animal welfare NGO. Akshay Jain, a member of the Insaniyat Group NGO, reached the Daboh police station and filed a formal complaint.
Based on the evidence, the police have booked Paramal Singh Kushwah, Brajesh Baghel, and Anand Kushwah under the Animal Cruelty Act. Two other unidentified individuals have also been named in the FIR. A search is underway to arrest all the accused.
Dog traumatised
It is said, the dog has been extremely traumatized since the incident. Akshay Jain and his team tried to rescue the dog and take it to Bhind for medical treatment. However, the terrified canine runs off into the fields upon seeing people. Akshay mentioned that despite multiple attempts, they have not yet been able to rescue the dog.
