Pakistan’s Asim Munir spews venom against India, says Kashmir is Pakistan’s…, call Gaza the heart of…
Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir has once again made aggressive remarks against India, this time during a public event. Speaking at the first Overseas Pakistanis Conference in Islamabad, he called Kashmir the “jugular vein” of Pakistan, stressing that no power in the world can separate Kashmir from Pakistan. He also reiterated the Pakistani military’s full support for the Kashmiri people.
He also drew a comparison between Gaza and Kashmir, calling Gaza the heartbeat of Kashmiris, and expressed solidarity with Palestinians.
General Munir didn’t stop there. Addressing concerns about rising violence in Balochistan, he tried to calm public fears, saying that even generations of terrorists can’t harm Balochistan or Pakistan. According to him, Balochistan is not just key to the country’s future but also a symbol of national pride.
He wrapped up his speech by saying that as long as the people of Pakistan stand behind their armed forces, no challenge is too big. He made it clear that Pakistan’s enemies are mistaken if they believe a handful of militants can determine the nation’s future.
General Asim Munir praised overseas Pakistanis
He expressed deep admiration for the patriotism of Pakistanis living abroad. “I’m truly moved by your passion for Pakistan,” he said, adding, “Our bond with you is only growing stronger.” He rejected the common notion of “brain drain” and instead called it “brain gain,” acknowledging overseas Pakistanis as ambassadors and shining lights of the nation.
General Munir also urged the diaspora to pass on Pakistan’s heritage and values to the next generation, saying, “You are not just representatives… you are the talent of Pakistan that shines globally.” He stressed the importance of preserving the ideals on which the country was founded.
Praising Pakistan’s potential, he reminded everyone that the country has been blessed with abundant natural resources, and that citizens should be grateful for them. “Together, we are sending a clear message… anyone who stands in the way of Pakistan’s progress will be removed,” he declared. He ended his speech on a strong note, saying: “The question isn’t if Pakistan will progress, but how fast.”
