WATCH: Robert Vadra & Priyanka Gandhi Share A Warm Hug Outside ED Office As Former Appears For Questioning
New Delhi: Businessman Robert Vadra appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for a second consecutive day on Wednesday, April 16, as part of the ongoing investigation into a land deal in Gurugram. A video of a brief yet emotional moment shared between Vadra and his wife, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, outside the ED headquarters, surfaced on social media.
As Vadra entered the ED office, Priyanka stepped out of her car to greet him with a hug. She reportedly remained in the waiting area while the questioning was underway.

According to PTI, the ED is probing a land transaction involving Vadra’s company, which allegedly purchased a 3.5-acre plot in Gurgaon’s Shikophur village from Omkareshwar Properties for Rs 7.5 crore in February 2008. The plot was later sold to real estate giant DLF for Rs 58 crore.
The agency suspects that the substantial profit generated from the deal may be linked to money laundering and is investigating the flow of funds involved in the transaction.
Vadra voiced his dissatisfaction with the probe, alleging that central agencies were being misused to silence dissenting voices.
“It is very unfortunate. I feel people don’t believe in the agencies anymore because everyone in the country has realised that the ED and other agencies are being misused to put pressure on those who expose the government’s wrongdoings,” Vadra told PTI.
“They can see I have become the voice of the people. I’m almost like an activist now… People would like to see me in politics,” he further told the news agency, claiming strong public support despite what he called "constant false accusations."
