Why an Israeli jet bombed its own border community

An Israeli fighter jet accidentally dropped a munition near Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak, close to the Gaza border, during an airstrike mission on Tuesday night. The IDF attributed the incident to a technical malfunction. No injuries were reported, and the bomb landed in agricultural fields.
