The Ambani family is one of the most influential business families in India. Mukesh Ambani and his immediate family members including his wife Nita Ambani, sons Akash and Anant Ambani, and daughter Isha Ambani have played a significant role in shaping India’s business landscape.
Well, talking about Isha Ambani, the businesswoman is changing the game in fashion, business and tech sectors. From leading Reliance Retail to launching Jio, she is building her own empire with a powerful vision and modern leadership.
Born on October 23, 1991, Isha is born and bought up in Mumbai. She began her higher education journey at Yale University, where she studied psychology. Furthermore, she obtained a MBA degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, before embarking her professional career at McKinsey & Company in the United States.
According to Jansatta, When Isha was studying at Yale, her mother Nita Ambani revealed that she used to live in dormitory, where she not just shared her room but also washroom facilities with 18-20 girls. This experience was Ambani family’s approach to provide their children with the most normal upbringing.
During holidays, Nita Ambani mentioned that they didn’t send private jets to their children. Instead they used to travel from commercial flights like Air India. She felt that it was important to instill a sense of humility and normalcy in their upbringing.
In December 2018, Isha Ambani tied the knot with Anand Piramal, the Executive Director of the Piramal Group of companies. They are parents to twins- a daughter named Aadiya Shakti and a son named Krishna. Isha currently holds a prominent position on the boards of Jio Platforms and Reliance Retail Ventures. The whole marketing team as well as planning strategies comes under her.
