The incident, which took place on April 12, sparked public outrage after videos went viral showing Rudraksh—dressed in flashy clothes—allegedly forcing open the temple gates and attacking the priest when denied entry.Despite resistance from the temple authorities, Rudraksh went ahead with the puja and even shot a reel of the entire event, which added to the controversy. Once the video reached the authorities, Dewas police registered a case under multiple sections and launched a manhunt. Facing mounting pressure and legal action, Rudraksh, along with four other accused, eventually surrendered.All five were presented in court after their surrender. This incident not only highlights the misuse of political power but also underscores that law enforcement in the state is willing to act decisively, even against politically influential individuals.
