Surat man held for cyberfraud that made elderly Karnataka couple end their lives

Following the suicide of an elderly couple in Belagavi due to a digital arrest scam where they lost nearly Rs 60 lakh, police have arrested 30-year-old Chirag Jeevarajbhai Lakkad from Surat. He is suspected to be part of a larger cyber-bullying network, as he received and transferred a portion of the stolen money.
