Amid war with Israel, Hamas makes shocking decision, decides to…, former Mossad officers ask for…

Israel Hamas war: The hope for the quick end of the Gaza war now seems diminished. Hamas has rejected the ceasefire proposal that called for all armed groups in Gaza to surrender. Hamas also accused Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu of obstructing peace efforts and an ongoing war that has lasted for 18 months.

Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri stated on Monday, April 14 that their group is ready to negotiate all proposals to alleviate people’s suffering. However, the latest proposal from Israel, which it has asked the Palestinian people to accept, is for ‘surrender.’ Meanwhile, the United States has also sent tens of millions of dollars in new weaponry to Israel, and Israel is gearing up for a major military operation.

Abu Zuhri said, “Netanyahu is putting impossible conditions to hinder the ceasefire agreement.”

He stated that Israel is not promising in its latest proposal that it will completely stop the attacks. Israel only wants to get back the hostages. We are ready to release all living and deceased hostages, but this will happen only when the war is over and the Israeli army withdraws from Gaza.

The spokesperson for Hamas stated that surrender is not an option for the Hamas movement and we will not accept breaking the will of the people. Hamas will not surrender, we will not give up, and we will employ all forms of pressure against the attacking forces. The latest proposal from Israel mentions a 45-day peace period. It calls for the release of all hostages. In return, Israel will allow food and aid to go into Gaza.

Meanwhile, over 250 former officials of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency have appealed to the government to immediately cease hostilities in the Gaza Strip. According to Israel’s state-owned Kan TV News, the former officials wrote a letter to the government making this demand. The report states that among the signatories are three former heads of Mossad: Danny Yatom, Efraim Halevy, and Tamir Pardo, along with dozens of other senior officials.

Former members of Mossad said, “The ongoing fighting is endangering the lives of hostages and our soldiers. Every possible effort should be made to reach an agreement that ends this suffering. We call on the government to make a courageous decision and act responsibly for the security of the country.”

According to the Xinhuanet news agency, they expressed support for the hundreds of military personnel, whether they are reserves or retired, who had signed a similar letter. The letter called for an end to the war and the return of hostages.
