In a video uploaded by a user on X (formerly known as Twitter), the legendary wicketkeeper-batsman was seen walking forward along with the rest of the team players. When Dhoni came into the frame, he was seen limping, which suggests that Dhoni had played a brilliant innings.
MS Dhoni was struggling with a knee injury in the final of the 2023 season. He underwent surgery for the injury in Mumbai but it looks like the veteran is still struggling but is committed to playing for the franchise.
Recently, during the game against Delhi Capitals in Vizag, another video had surfaced in which the keeper-batsman was seen limping during the innings where he was on the field for wicketkeeping.
However, this has not affected Dhoni as a batsman as he continues to dominate the bowlers and play the role of a finisher. In the match against Mumbai Indians, the veteran player caught everyone’s attention by hitting three sixes off the last three balls of MI captain Hardik Pandya’s innings at the Wankhede.
