Heat wave conditions will persist in western and eastern Rajasthan between 15 and 18 April. This heat wave can take a very severe form in some areas. The effect of hot winds is likely to continue in Gujarat state till 17 April. The temperature in Barmer has reached 45.4 degrees Celsius, which is the highest in the country at this time.

Effect of Western Disturbance on these states

An intense western disturbance will affect Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand between 16 and 20 April. Heavy rains, hailstorms and strong winds are expected in these areas on 18 and 19 April. Also, thunderstorms and lightning are expected in plain areas like Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh between 18 and 20 April.

There will be a lot of thunder in the northeastern states

Rain will continue with thunderstorms and strong winds in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura for the next 5 days. Heavy rain and hailstorm warning has also been issued in Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha on April 17.

Chances of rain in South India

Light to moderate rain, thunderstorms and strong winds may occur in many parts of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. There is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in Kerala and Mahe from 15 to 17 April.

Hot winds knock in Delhi-NCR

The weather will remain dry in Delhi-NCR from 15 to 18 April, but the temperature can reach 41 degrees. Strong winds (30-40 km / h) are likely to blow with thunderstorms on 18 April.
