Mob Thrashes Woman Outside Bengaluru Mosque After Husband Files Complaint, 6 Arrested
A group of men allegedly thrashed a woman outside a local mosque in Karnataka's Davanagere city after her husband filed a complaint against her over a domestic dispute.
The incident, captured on camera, took place outside the mosque last week and circulated on social media.
As the video went viral on social media, sparking outrage, six accused were arrested and a case has been filed against them under charges related to conspiracy, assault, and attempted murder, officials said, reported NDTV.

Husband Files Complaint Against Wife
On April 7, Shabina Banu (38), who works as a domestic helper, was at home when her relative Nasreen visited her. A man named Fayaz also went to Shabina's house during this time.
The three then went for a short outing before returning to Shabina's home, according to officials.
However, later when Shabina's husband, Jameel Ahmed returned home, he got irked seeing Nasreen and Fayaz at the house. An irrate Jameel approached the Jama Masjid in Bengaluru's Tavarekere and filed a complaint against his wife, her relative, and Fayaz.
The mosque summoned Shabina, Nasreen, and Fayaz two days later on April 9.

When the three reached the mosque, a group of six men assaulted Shabina by wielding sticks and pipes at her, leaving her severely injured.
The accused have been identified a Mohammad Niyaz (32) - a driver, Mohammad Gauspeer (45) - a scrap dealer, Chand Basha (35) - a sugarcane juice vendor, Dastagir (24) - a bike mechanic, Rasool T R (42) a fisherman at Bukkambudi Lake, and Inayat Ullah (51) - a local resident.
A case was registered against under relevant sections of Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita them and all the accused have been arrested.
