Shocking twist in Saif Ali Khan stabbing case, main accused’s fingerprints don’t match

The 1,000-page chargesheet filed in the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case reveals that the fingerprints taken from Saif’s flat after the incident did not match those of the accused, Shariful Islam.

Nearly 20 samples were sent to the State CID’s Fingerprint Bureau, of which 19 did not match the accused’s fingerprints. The sliding door of the bedroom and the cupboard door bore no fingerprints matching Shariful’s. Notably, the only fingerprint that matched the accused was recovered from the eighth floor of the building.

The Mumbai Police last week filed a chargesheet in the Metropolitan Magistrate Court in connection with the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case. The chargesheet, reportedly 1,000 pages long, contains several pieces of evidence against the accused, Shariful Islam.
