Belonging to a blue-blooded family, Rhea was born with a legacy of royalty. Her grandmother Zubeida was a celebrated actress and appeared as a lead in Alam Ara, India’s first talkie film, while her grandfather Maharaja Narsinghgir Dhanrajgir Gyan Bahadur, was a royal from Hyderabad. Her mother, Durreshwar Dhanrajgir, was a doctor, and her father, Raymond Pillai, was a businessman.
