Priyanka Chopra teams up with ‘Baywatch’ co-star Zac Efron for next Hollywood project

Priyanka Chopra has signed on to her next Hollywood venture, in which she will star alongside Zac Efron, with whom she made her film debut in the industry. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the untitled project—earlier titled Judgement Day—will be helmed and penned by Nicholas Stoller.
Chopra and Crash fame Michael Peña were announced to join the Amazon MGM-backed film, with a cast that also includes Will Ferrell, Regina Hall, Jimmy Tatro and Billy Eichner.

Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Alex Brown will bankroll the film under Gloria Sanchez Productions, as well as Stoller, under Stoller Global Solutions.
The film follows the story of an ex-convict (Efron), who takes a TV courtroom judge (Ferrell) hostage under the belief that the judge is the person who landed him in jail. Details regarding Chopra’s character have been kept under wraps.
The actress has an exciting list of projects lined up. She will be seen in The Bluff from director Frank E. Flowers, starring Chopra as a female pirate, and Ilya Naishuller directorial Heads of State, starring John Cena and Idris Elba.

The Dil Dhadakne Do actress is also making her much-awaited return to Indian cinema in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming directorial, tentatively titled SSMB29, with Mahesh Babu in the lead, along with Prithviraj Sukumaran and Jisshu Sengupta.
Last week, Chopra was rumoured to reprise her role in the fourth instalment of the Krissh franchise, earlier helmed by Rakesh Roshan, with the baton passed on to his son and lead actor Hrithik Roshan.
Entertainment
